The door to the little girl's room was open just a peek. She was lying on her stomach, her face turned toward the side. She had pikachu tucked under her arm and she wasn't moving. Ian looked from the little girl back at Megan. "What happened?"

Megan shrugged. "I don't know, I was in the freezer. She seemed okay when I left, but when I came back, Lizzie and Erin were trying to restrain her and she knocked him out with one of the pans. Lizzie said she tried to knock over the TV and everything on the stove. Erin mumbled something about that 'bloody telly' before he went down to the lab. She was perfectly fine this morning, and then WHAM! Psycho kid form children of the corn." She looked in on Eli again and shook her head. "I don't know what got into her."

He sighed. "I will see what is wrong." He told her as he silently entered her room, shutting the door behind him. If the little girl knew he was there, she didn't show it. He sat down on the bed next to her. "Eli?"

No answer.

"Eli?" Still nothing. He carefully lifted his hand up and placed it on the back of her shoulder. The little girl let out a whine and wrenched her shoulder back to push him off. Her face was buried in the comforter. He sighed and then there was silence. He didn't try touching her again, not wanting to upset her anymore than she already was.

"That was not nice, what you did to Erin. He was really hurt. You scared Megan, and Lizzie said you bit her. I know you are upset, but nobody knows why and you lying on your bed is not going to make anything better." He paused a moment. He noticed her head turn slightly and could see her peeking up at him a bit. "I am not angry at you. Very disappointed, but not angry." She turned her head all the way. He half smiled. "Hi."

"Hi." She said quietly. She lifted her head up and kept it propped up with her arms.

"Was it bad?" She nodded. "You want to talk about it?" He asked. She shook her head. He nodded and stroked her back lightly. "You don't need to tell me anything, but you should apologize to everyone for how you were behaving earlier, especially Erin, alright?" She nodded again. He moved his hand up and ruffled her hair. "I have to go. Now, please stay out of trouble, or I will give the dogs a new chew toy." He told her, pointing at pikachu. She held her doll closer and whined. "Then you'll behave?" She nodded and waved as he left.

-Later-

Eli walked down the hall with pikachu. She was in her froggie jammies, her hair still dripping wet from her bath. She had gone down and apologized to Megan and Lizzie. They had forgiven her easily, and Megan had even made her macaroni and cheese! Erin had been a lot harder, and she knew he was still mad at her, but she'd make it up to him tomorrow. She had already agreed that she'd help them, no complaints.

She passed the study room, which was halfway open, and decided to peek in to see if Ian was in there. He wasn't, but Irons was, working at his desk. Her eyes narrowed as she pushed the door open wider.

Irons glanced up from his work. "Yes, Eliza?"

"I saw you on the TV." She told him as she edged toward his desk. "It said you took over my Daddy's company. Is that true?" She asked.

"I would be lying if I said it wasn't, though it is not as simple as you think." He told her, not even glancing up. "Yes, I now control a majority of what was once his, but he had arranged it so that is what would happen in the event of his death."

"He wanted Tony to have it." She said simply.

He nodded, slightly. "I am sure he did, had your brother not left this world as well." There was silence. "Are you wondering why you are not getting it?"

She shook her head. "I'm not suppose to. Mommy told me, and she said I won't have to."

"That is correct. She made sure you wouldn't have to. Speaking of your mother," He stopped working and put his pen away. "Dr. Immo told me that you knew a little about your mother's research." He looked down directly at her. "How much do you know?"

Eli squeezed pikachu's paw and shrugged. "I'm not sure." She said innocently.

"Then why don't you tell me what you do know." He told her brightly.

Eli didn't like this. Mommy had told her not to talk about her work because it was a secret. A very big secret that some people would do bad things to get. And if they got them, they would do bad things with them.

'But Mr. Irons isn't bad.' She thought. She pulled pikachu up to hug him. "Mommy worked in genetics. She worked with the DNA stuff." She told him. "But my Mommy's stuff was special because she could make the DNA stuff change. She could make things change."

He leaned forward. "How did your mother make things change?" He asked.

"A lot of ways. She could make people's eyes turn colors without contacts. She could make your hair change color. She made Tony....... Tony." She looked down. "Daddy was so happy when she was able to do make him him." She held pikachu tighter. "I don't know anymore."

Irons rose out of his chair and kneeled down to her level. "Do you remember your mother's lab?" He asked her. She nodded. "Do you remember how to get in?" Eli shrugged. "Eliza, this is very important, do you know how to get in?" She shrugged again. He put his hand on her shoulder squeezed. "Would you please answer the question."

She gulped. "The door has a box near it, when you turn the side. Inside the box, there are buttons. She pressed the buttons, and then the door opened. And if you press the wrong buttons, the big metal door shows and then nobody can get in." She told him.

"And the code?" He asked.

Eli shrugged yet again. His hand tightened on her shoulder and she winced. "I don't know it." She told him quietly.

He sighed and his hand moved to her other shoulder as he pulled her in next to him. "Little girls are not suppose to lie, Eliza. You are well aware of this. So tell me, what is the code?"

She panicked. "I don't know."

"Eliza." He gripped her tighter, and both her shoulders felt crushed. "You are a smart little girl, and I know you know. So tell me, what is the code?"

She bit her lip. "I don't remember." She said honestly. She didn't remember, but she knew where to find it.

"I don't believe you Eliza. You are hiding something from me." She looked away from him, wishing that Ian would appear all of a sudden and make him stop. Irons turned her to face him. He took pikachu away from her and tossed him across the room. She let out a whimper of fear and hugged herself. "Eliza, you will tell me this." He told her. "Now, I am not asking. Tell me the code."

She didn't answer. She had to remain silent. That was one part she wasn't allowed to say... EVER! She could tell he was getting angry and she wanted to run away, but couldn't because he was holding her in place. She scanned the room for Ian one last time.

He wasn't there.




-Meanwhile-

They were cuddled up together under the sheets. He was stroking her face reverently as she began to fall asleep. He was too caught up in her to notice her bracelet glowing. It pulled her down in a vision quickly, and then let go. She sat up, breathing hard.

"Sara, what's wrong? What did it show you?" Ian asked her.

"It's started. What I saw about Eli, the first part has happened." She told him as she tried to get her breathing even again. "You need to go and find out what happened. Lord knows I don't want you to go, but we need to know."

He nodded and kissed her before he got up out of her bed to get changed. He was done quickly and came over to the bed and kissed her again. She touched his cheek. "When will I see you again?"

"Tomorrow night, at Gabriel's shop." He told her. "He's been looking into Eli's family, and he said he had found something." He caressed her face with the back of his hand. "Until tomorrow night." He gave her one last kiss and before she opened her eyes he was gone.

Her mouth twisted up into a smile. "Tomorrow." She repeated.
