I'm finally getting to this story and can't wait to read what comes next.

I also vote for fan fic outtakes. It is interesting to see all the ideas an author comes up with for one story even if some of them have to be sacrificed to keep the plot on track.

Which begs the question what is her connection to Jarrod and is Ian the on financing the brothers? Sounds like something he would do.

Jake McCartey walked along the street with his ungloved hands tucked into his jacket pockets. Not wearing gloves was stupid, he knew, but he had already made one concession to the freezing cold of January in New York City - the watch cap that squashed his "signature" SoCal hair - and he wasn't ready to make another. Kitty, it's funny that you mention that "merger" between the Parkers and the Ironses (so to speak)...I had a slightly different view of that merger: Irons encouraging Parker to pursue Ian... [In fact, I have a rough draft of a scene that has been cut from the story in which Irons is worried about how much Sara has been "distracting" Ian from his duties....

Lovely. Love the scene and it is about time the two of them talked like human beings. Is Mr Parker trying to do a little old fashioned corperate merging between his daughter and Irons? I wouldn't put it passed him. Need to know more.

When I look at the story here on yuku, all the quotation marks are gone so I will be re-posting the story (in this thread) before I add to it. Work has been somewhat hectic, but I am writing this (and other fics) in fits & starts. Rest assured, that I will be posting new stuff a some point. Thanks for your patience all.

Yar's idea to put these shows together was inspired - how well the two shows could crossover never occurred to me until I read her story. This summer I watched The Pretender movies and it put my muse into overdrive.
